Jojo Siwa backstage at This Morning earlier this year

Jojo Siwa has spoken candidly about some of the abuse she’s been subjected to since she began dating her boyfriend Chris Hughes.

Earlier this year, the Karma singer took part in the second season of ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother reboot.

At the time, Jojo was in a relationship with her ex-partner Kath Ebbs and was using the term “lesbian” to describe her sexual identity.

During her time in the house, Jojo raised eyebrows thanks to her close friendship with former Love Island finalist Chris, later disclosing that she preferred to use the term “queer” to refer to herself.

After her eviction, Jojo broke up with Kath, and she and Chris announced that they were an item shortly afterwards.

During a new interview on the podcast Reign With Josh Smith, Jojo revealed that her new romance has led to a barrage of abuse, which she said is largely due to the fact she’s now dating a man.
