Jennifer Coolidge on set with her new co-stars Rebel Wilson and Nicole Scherzinger

Jennifer Coolidge has been announced as a new addition to Rebel Wilson’s new comedy Girl Group.

As the name suggests, the upcoming series centres around a former pop icon – played by Rebel – who is booted out of her former girl band’s reunion plans, and tries to break her way back into the industry by putting together a new group made up of unlikely teenagers.

It’s now been announced the Emmy-winning White Lotus star will join recent Tony winner Nicole Scherzinger in the new series.

But folks, we also need to talk about the show’s supporting cast.

Rebel’s former bandmates will be played by pop royalty Melanie C, All Saints’ Shaznay Lewis and Nicole’s fellow
