Jade Thirlwall has dug up a real buried treasure while looking back at the year she’s had since launching her solo career, ahead of the long-awaited release of her new album.

On Tuesday night, the former Little Mix singer shared a string of photos on Instagram from over the course of the last 12 months, including a personal message from Sandie Shaw.

The Eurovision winner’s signature hit Puppet On A String was famously sampled on Jade’s debut solo single Angel Of My Dreams, with Sandie giving the feature her personal seal of approval in a private message that had gone unseen until now.
