Gregg Wallace Sacked As MasterChef Host Following Investigation Into His Past Conduct

Gregg Wallace has been fired as a presenter on MasterChef following an independent investigation into his past conduct.

Back in December 2024, it was announced that Gregg would be taking a leave of absence from the BBC cooking show while production company Banijay UK, in collaboration with the law firm Lewis Silkin, investigated complaints made about his past behaviour to the BBC.

Since then, even more people have spoken out with allegations about Gregg’s conduct, while the presenter has mostly been keeping a somewhat low profile.

Gregg – who has previously refuted that his conduct on the set of MasterChef has ever been “sexually harassing” in nature, and previously sparked controversy when he referred to his initial accusers of being “middle-class women of a certain age” – broke his silence on the matter in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday evening, in which he tore into the BBC.

He began by saying he’d “taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication” of the report – a decision he described as one he did “not take lightly”.

“After 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others,” Gregg wrote. “I have now been cleared by [the report] of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me. The most damaging........
