Gal Gadot has spoken out after raising eyebrows with recent comments she made about her film Snow White’s underperformance at the box office.

Earlier this year, the Israeli performer played the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action remake of the animated classic, opposite Rachel Zegler in the title role.

It’s been well-documented that the movie’s release was a troubled one for a variety of reasons, with Rachel’s casting being met with a near-immediate backlash from certain right-wing critics due to her Latina heritage.

She later faced scrutiny due to comments she made about Disney’s animated version of Snow White.
