Axed Big Brother housemate George Gilbert has opened up about the events that led to his removal from the show.

Last week, bosses announced that George had been ejected from the house after receiving multiple formal warnings about his repeated use of “unacceptable” language.

It also emerged that George had already received numerous warnings that weren’t aired on the main show as his language would have gone against broadcasting code.

This was also the case for the remarks that led to his removal, although it was later confirmed that they came about during a discussion about conspiracy theories.

While The Sun previously claimed that George was pulled from the show after “making offensive comments which could be interpreted as antisemitic”, he has now spoken out for the first time in a video shared to his YouTube channel on Monday evening.

In it, he explained that on the night before his exit, he and the house had been discussing various theories, including offensive tropes about Jewish people.
