Good news for lovers of rosemary – compounds found in the herb have been linked to decreased dementia and anxiety risk and improved sleep.
But if you’ve got more of a sweet tooth, it seems a “tart” fruit could be beneficial for everything from your kip to your inflammation levels and even your heart health.
Cherries, which contain sleep-regulating melatonin and heart-healthy polyphenols and potassium, have been associated with multiple health advantages in a range of studies, a 2018 review of which looked at the “antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties” of the fruit.

Sweet cherries have been found to contain melatonin, which acts as a signal that tells your body it’s time to fall asleep.
