When it comes to packing for my holidays, I’ve historically had pretty bad form (though thankfully, the 3-3-3 rule has made it a lot less chaotic).

I can never remember what the liquid rules are. I always put my laptop in the wrong place. Basically, I’m not type A enough to check off every task before I leave to the airport.

But I reckon one rule suggested by Silvena Nonev, a travel expert with Scandinavia Private Tours, might stick – not least because it only takes two seconds.

“Always, always, always flip your information card backwards,” she advised.
