So THAT's Why You Should Always Wash Gym Clothes Inside Out
Not only are you not meant to wash your jeans all that often, but when you do, it’s important to turn them inside out.
That’s because, denim giants Levi’s explain, “This simple (but usually neglected) step protects the outer colour from fading and minimises direct contact with chemicals and detergents”.
But your favourite flares shouldn’t be the only thing you invert before lobbing them in your machine’s drum.
It turns out the same goes for gym gear, too, for slightly gross reasons.
Why should you turn gym clothes inside out before washing them?
Well, one reason is simple: you sweat a lot when you’re wearing your gym clothes, and (obviously) perspiration begins from the inside out.
