Type C personality

If I asked you whether you’re more “type A” or “type B”, you’d probably start thinking about how competitive, detail-oriented, and ambitious you are.

After all, we’re told, type A people are hard-working, organised, and goal-oriented. They might also tend to be a little aggressive and unempathetic, Medical News Today writes.

Their type B counterparts, the usual comparison suggests, are more emotionally attuned and easygoing, but at the expense of motivation, urgency, and even timeliness.

Feel like you don’t wholly fit those? Well, it turns out there’s a type C personality too – a creative, open-minded ambivert who combines out-of-the-box thinking with problem-solving logic and perfectionism.

What is a type C personality?

Per Healthline, type C personalities have trouble adjusting to change (unlike type B) but share the sensitivity towards others and creativity associated with the more relaxed personality type.

Like type A personalities, they’re perfectionist and detail-oriented, but they avoid the conflict and aggression that type As might be more comfortable with.
