Diane Keaton’s family has confirmed her cause of death, following the news that the Oscar-winning screen icon had died over the weekend at the age of 79.

In a statement to People magazine, Diane’s family disclosed that the actor died of pneumonia, and thanked fans for their outpouring of support.
