9 Dramatic Behind-The-Scenes Celebrity Traitors Moments That Viewers Never Got To See
The cast of The Celebrity Traitors with presenter Claudia Winkleman
The Celebrity Traitors had us gripped from start to finish with betrayals, shocking murders and outrageous lying.
But since the series ended, it’s emerged that there were even more twists and turns behind the scenes, with members of the famous cast revealing the best bits we didn’t get to see from the comfort of our homes.
As Jonathan Ross recently said on his podcast Reel Talk: “Bear in mind… 19 contestants in our version, challenges to do, as well, and chunks of the day that they have to have. It’s almost impossible for them to condense.”
With that in mind, here are nine dramatic moments that the audience at home didn’t get to see…
Nick Mohammed’s reaction to Alan Carr winning Celebrity Traitors was even bigger than it came across on screen

Millions of us were gripped as the last “Traitor” standing, Alan Carr, blagged his way to winning the entire prize pot for children’s charity Neuroblastoma UK.
While “Faithful” David Olusoga was stunned that the funny man could have deceived the whole group for the length of the series, comedian and actor Nick Mohammed was so shocked that he audibly swore.
However, speaking to The Times, Nick admitted his reaction was even more extreme than shown when he learnt of Alan’s traitor behaviour.
“There was a lot more they edited out,” he claimed. “I was effing and blinding, I was so shocked. And then I just lost control of my legs. I was on the floor.”
Nick and David’s attitude soon changed when Alan famously then began crying, at which point the pair ran over to console the presenter and comedian.
“When Alan burst into tears I couldn’t bear it,” Nick told the outlet. “But I also thought, ‘oh my God, this is going to be great television’.”
Alan Carr and Jonathan Ross taunted Lucy Beaumont after ‘murdering’ her face to face
Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns commit the first face-to-face "murder" of the series on The Celebrity Traitors
One of the things we all loved about The Celebrity Traitors was just how involved the famous cast got in the gameplay.
However, Alan Carr and Jonathan Ross have since admitted that, looking back, they may have gotten a little too carried away with their role as “Traitors”.
After completing the face-to-face “murder” of comedian Lucy Beaumont, Jonathan revealed he and Alan added in a couple of unnecessary barbs.
Speaking on Jonathan’s podcast Reel Talk, Alan claimed that producers “cut out” a part where he warned Lucy not to “mess with us”.
“After leaving Lucy that night, that’s when I felt the worst,” Jonathan agreed. “I kind of thought that was going to be OK, because it was face-to-face, and so I was grinning like an idiot, like, ‘ha! It’s us!’.”
