Global Annual Alumni Meet – SANGAM 2025 (Students Alumni Networking for Growth, Aspiration, and Monitoring) will be held on 10-11 October 2025 at NIT Srinagar. This flagship event is dedicated to celebrating the legacy of our alumni, strengthening their connection with their alma mater, and creating new opportunities for collaboration with industry, academia, and government institutions. With active participation expected from alumni in leadership positions across diverse sectors, along with faculty and students, the meet will serve as a unique platform for knowledge exchange, mentorship, and networking.
When alumni share their journeys and experiences, they not only rekindle cherished bonds but also inspire new ones. We at NIT Srinagar, believe that strong alumni relations enhance institutional growth, often translating into scholarships, partnerships, and support that will benefit us for years to come. For the first time in the history of alumni meets, office of Dean Alumni & International Affairs, NIT Srinagar is introducing a set of purpose-driven initiatives designed to transform alumni engagement from a ceremonial reunion into a catalyst for growth, collaboration, and societal impact. It is my privilege to present, with great pride and respect, an unprecedented five initiative for SANGAM 2025.
This initiative opens the doors of our classrooms to distinguished alumni, allowing them to share their professional insights, real-world experiences, and practical wisdom directly with students and faculty round the year. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, it aims to bridge the academia– industry gap in a meaningful way. SANGAM serves as a unique alumni–student mixer, where aspiring graduates can interact with professionals, explore industry trends, and identify the skills needed to succeed in their chosen fields. For many students, these interactions act as icebreakers that evolve into mentorships, helping them find role models and career guides among their seniors.
