By the time you’ve opened our newsletter today you might have already heard about the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The big takeaways—which my colleague Ty Roush broke down here—include the addition of 64,000 nonfarm jobs in November while the unemployment rate grew to 4.6%, higher than what analysts had predicted.

Almost all those job gains—about 46,000—came from the healthcare sector, with more added in construction and social assistance. Healthcare in particular has been one of the strongest sectors this year, consistently adding jobs each month. There’s a number of reasons for this growth, from the breadth of job titles that fall under the category to residuals of the post-pandemic burnout that many healthcare workers endured.

But healthcare jobs aren’t just the medical roles of doctors, nurses, radiologists and technicians, many of which require extensive years of training. There are also non-medical positions, which range from entry-level roles like dental assistants and massage therapists to management and back-office positions that IT, legal, finance and marketing professionals can take advantage of.

If you’re curious, Forbes editor Leigh Cuen recently collected some of our contributors’ best advice on how to transition into a job in the healthcare industry, no matter your level of experience.

As we head into the end of the year, we want to hear from you! We’d be incredibly appreciative if you filled out our End of Year survey so we can learn about what you........
