From Refugee Roots to a Global Vision
Szurdok’s journey is as remarkable as the company he leads. The son of Hungarian refugees, he grew up in Switzerland with modest means but limitless determination. “We were poor, but I always felt supported,” he recalls. Education, free and accessible, became his gateway to opportunity. At the University of St. Gallen, often called “the Harvard of Switzerland,” he honed both analytical discipline and creative curiosity.
Even as a child, Szurdok’s passion for motion and mastery was clear. Competing as a BMX rider from age 11, he traveled to the United States and absorbed the spirit of the American Dream — that perseverance and imagination could make anything possible.
