Opinion: Destroying Edmonton's exhibition lands does more harm than good The City of Edmonton council and administration proudly announced earlier this month a reminder that they have initiated the destruction of the exhibition grounds where KDays is held each year, along with the race track, the grandstand, the parking for Expo Centre and the very cultural heart of our city.

The plan can be found at www.exhibition lands.ca and they show clearly the plan to introduce mass infill housing across the former parking lots and exhibition sites. It is almost with gleeful exuberance that they show the elimination of our city’s last vestige of cultural heritage and gathering site for its citizens.
