Victoria Casbolt had sought permission from East Suffolk Council to install four glamping tipis on agricultural land in Shadingfield, near Beccles.

The council approved the plans last year, but said building cannot take place until certain reports are submitted for further approval.

After sending off an ecological enhancement strategy and a method strategy for dealing with wildlife, including hedgehogs, Nature's Nook Glamping has now received the final approval.

Development can now begin on the four tipis as well as a communal shower and toilet block, kitchenette, and five car parking spaces.

The site will also include EV charging stations and a storage shed.

Plans for the site off the A145 London Road received three objections from locals with concerns about traffic, noise, and privacy.

Original documents had said: "The site is intended to be amongst the best available in the area and provide an exciting new alternative, offering guests a secluded retreat in nature and high-quality, modern glamping accommodation."
