The properties are among the first to be completed on the 180-home Loddon Rise estate being built to the south east of the town.

After being granted planning permission by South Norfolk Council in 2024, the first houses are now available for viewing.

The Beccles Road estate has a controversial past, with more than 25 locals and Loddon Town Council submitting letters of objection.

Duncan Jackson, regional managing director of the company's Anglian region said: "We're delighted to be expanding our presence in South Norfolk.

"At both Loddon Rise and Brundall Meadows, we're focused on creating well-designed, energy-efficient homes alongside meaningful community benefits - from affordable housing and self-build plots to new parks, play areas and infrastructure improvement - that will benefit residents for generations to come."

Many of the concerns over the Loddon development related to lost agricultural land, extra traffic, and impact on local doctors and dentists.

On Saturday, March 7 Hopkins Homes will also launch the show homes of another major development in Brundall.
