Antony Milgate subjected the victim to a three-hour ordeal after imprisoning her in her home at Upwell in October 2003.

He was sentenced to two life terms for rape at Norwich Crown Court, together with three years for false imprisonment and 18 months for theft.

The court heard that Milgate, who had committed two earlier rapes in 1983 and 1989, admitted in a police interview that he was a danger to women and “someone who should never have been let out”.........
