Zak Marketis, 37, is accused of posting serious threats aimed at South West Norfolk MP Terry Jermy on social media as part of a campaign of harassment.

As part of the alleged harassment he is also said to have abused Breckland councillor Terry Land in a pub.

Both the MP and councillor are also members of Thetford Town Council, from which Marketis is serving a year-long ban due to his "severe behaviour" and claims that he repeatedly disrupted its meetings.

Marketis is a member of a campaign group, Thetford Council Watch, which regularly attends to raise topics such as climate change and vaccine use.........
