Prison officer involved in £130k drug smuggling for boyfriend must repay just £48
Sophie Emms, 29, who worked at Wayland Prison, was paid £7,000 to take in spice and cannabis for inmate Jediah Clarke to sell to fellow prisoners.
Puzzle books she took into the prison had been soaked in synthetic cannabinoid spice - dubbed the ‘Zombie drug’ - so that it was easy to move within the prison, with the A5 paper cut up by Clarke into smaller deals.
The criminal operation was smashed following an investigation by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU).
