James Durham, 54, was at the wheel of a Ford Ranger when it collided with 13-year-old Alfie Brown who was riding his bike at Swafield, near North Walsham.

The 13-year-old died at the scene from his injuries following the crash that happened at 6.30pm on August 10, 2023.

Appearing before Norwich Magistrates’ Court, Durham, of Goodwin Road, Mundesley, spoke only to confirm his personal details.
