Daniel Fairbairn, 38, developed a fixation with a female staff member at the Norwich branch of the pub chain.

His unrequited infatuation saw him repeatedly attend the pub despite being banned, bombarded her with notes and gifts and scrawl bizarre messages professing his 'love' around the city centre.

He was found with a lock knife after police were called following reports of a man with a weapon near the Queen Street pub on July 13.
