Two primary schools push ahead with reduced hours despite parents' concerns
Parents with children at Reedham Primary School and Winterton Primary School were sent a letter in July informing them of the planned changes.
In the letter, signed by Debbie Thomas, director of primary education for the Consortium Trust, which is in charge of both schools, it is stated that a trial for reduced hours will begin on November 3.
As part of the reduction, Fridays will be shortened to a 12.15pm finish, rather than the usual 3.15pm finish, with the Monday to Thursday schedule remaining the same.........
