A mother claims her children were boarding the X22 First Bus from Hobart High School in Loddon to their home when the incident occurred.

"My younger child was really enjoying the independence of their first solo bus ride," said the mother.

"Both of my children experienced horrible harassment on the bus, including inappropriate words, disgusting remarks about their bodies and sexualised faces being made at them."

The alleged offenders were year 11 students from Hobart High School.

The secondary school was contacted for comment on this story but did not reply.
