Earl of Iveagh 'thrilled' as he hosts an opera at Elveden Hall for first time
Elveden Hall's grand marble hall - built by Maharajah Duleep Singh - has attracted movie makers including Stanley Kubrick who filmed 1999 erotic thriller Eyes Wide Shut there.
On Sunday, July 9, touring company Wild Arts will be bringing opera to the hall for the first time with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.

Hall owner the Earl of Iveagh said depending on the acoustics for the opera singers, the performance will take place either in the marble hall or the grand dining room.
