Victoria Vere Nicholl decided to bring cattle back to the Benacre Estate near Southwold two years ago and last year started showing again for the first time in generations.

Earlier this month, her animals competed at the South Suffolk and Hadleigh Shows and she is planning to be at the Suffolk Show this week.

"It's only the second year we have been showing," she said.

Her late grandfather, Sir Robert Gooch, kept cattle but they all went in the 1970s when the estate had a change of direction.
