WWII Land Army veteran celebrates her 101st birthday
Angela Ottaway, who lives at Dell House in Beccles, was born in 1924 in Kent.
After leaving school at the age of 13, she trained as a shorthand typist and worked at the insurance company General Accident.
But in 1943, she joined the Land Army and worked on farms before working as a cook at Chelsea Barracks.
And now, she has celebrated her 101st birthday.
Mrs Ottaway said: "I had a lovely time and my family came along."
