Window row puts development at former school site 'at risk'

Bure Buildings was given permission by East Suffolk Council earlier this year to create 15 new homes across the vacant former Fen Park Primary School in Kirkley, Lowestoft.

And last week it was reported that work had begun on clearing the school site, which has been closed for the last 12 and a half years.

But now, the developers have lodged an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate, which rules over planning disputes, against one of the conditions the council imposed.
