Bure Buildings had lodged an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate over a condition in its planning permission to redevelop the former Fen Park Primary School in Kirkley, Lowestoft.

The proposal was for 15 new homes across the site, which was approved by East Suffolk Council earlier this year.

However, it was subject to a condition which required all existing windows and doors to be retained and repaired, with replacements only allowed following expert reports and prior approval.
