Tributes paid to 'incredibly creative' former headteacher of Norfolk school
David Osborne was the headteacher of Hobart High School in Loddon for more than 20 years, with former pupils describing him as a "great role model" and "caring person".
He stepped into the role after moving back from Jersey in 1978, 15 years after he first started his teaching career in Yorkshire.
But in 1999, he retired as the head of the south Norfolk school and continued working more broadly in the education sector.
His son, Adrian Osborne, described him as being "incredibly creative and very DIY-orientated," with music remaining an abiding feature in his life from an early age.
He was known by his family and peers for his musical talent and creativity. (Image: Adrian Osborne)
