Travis Glennie was travelling back home from school on Wednesday afternoon when he saw smoke billowing out of Harleston's St John's Church.

The fire, which started in the kitchen area, caused extensive damage to the Victorian building.

Travis was desperate to do something to help so brainstormed with his parents Laura and Ian.

Now, he has announced that he will be running 40 miles in November in an effort to raise funds for the repairs.
