Plans emerge for major chicken farm to house nearly 140,000 birds
Lone Wolf Planning has put forward a proposal for three intensive poultry rearing sheds on land off Copland Way in Ellough, near Beccles.
The buildings are set to be 25m (82ft) by 122m (400ft) to each house 138,000 chickens.
It comes after the site, which forms part of the former Beccles Second World War airfield, was originally earmarked for a controversial anaerobic digestion plant.
