The Beccles and Worlingham Garden Neighbourhood is a project which will see more than 1,250 new homes built on the southern edge of Beccles and southwest of Worlingham.

It has now been revealed that a planning application for the first stage of the development includes 720 homes and is due to be submitted by the end of this year.

And it has also emerged that developers hope to start construction on the site in 2028/9.

The eastern parcel of land, which runs adjacent to the A145 and Ellough Road, is set for 720 homes with 216 properties marked as affordable housing.
