Beccles Carnival draws thousands of visitors out each year as the weekend offers live music, market stalls, and a parade of floats decorated to dazzle the crowds.

And this weekend the event is set to reach new heights as a Norfolk pop star has turned his spotlight to the town.

The carnival has announced it has teamed up with Leon Mallet, who appeared on The X-Factor in 2017, to release a new music single about Beccles and the carnival.

But that is not the only surprise that has been unveiled.
