New homes planned for village at threat of disappearing into the sea

Developers are seeking permission from North Norfolk District Council to build two three-bedroom properties off Lantern Lane in Happisburgh as the village expands westward.

The replacement homes bid comes as the community faces growing fears from the eroding coastline, with concerns raised about the loss of homes and what it means for the future of the village.

And for the developers, this is why building replacement houses is so important.
