The fundraiser was launched to support owners Alex and Kayla Berger after a fire broke out in their home in Beach Road, Caister on August 6.

With the entire of the ground floor destroyed and their belongings gone, the appeal aimed to support the couple with essentials such as clothing, temporary accommodation and food.

And in less than a week, £4,960 has been raised, including a donation of £700 from the village's Branford's Restaurant and Bar.
