Nearly 10 jobs lost after 127-year-old ice cream company ceases trading
The directors of Parravani's Ice Cream made the "difficult decision" to cease trading after 127 years.
It saw the loss of nine jobs.
Administrators Parker Andrews has confirmed they are helping the affected workers claim statutory entitlements including unpaid wages, holiday pay, redundancy pay and notice pay.
In a statement, joint liquidators Grace Jones and David Perkins said: "At this early stage of the liquidation process, it would be inappropriate to comment further in relation to the employees' claims.
"The joint liquidators will, however, continue to provide the affected employees with the assistance that they require to enable them to claim their statutory entitlements from the Redundancy Payments Service (RPS)."
