Mother to mark 10 years since life-threatening brain surgery
Sandra Liddell, from Henstead, saw numerous doctors after suffering from symptoms such as pressure in her head, changes in her hearing and sickness.
And in 2015 at the age of 52, she was diagnosed with cavernoma, which is a cluster of abnormal blood vessels affecting the brain or spine, at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in 2015.
However, not long after the diagnosis her cyst began to bleed, her face dropped and she was rushed to London Hospital for Neurology to fully remove the cavernoma.
And now the former beautician is marking the 10th year anniversary of her brain surgery with a fundraiser for Cavernoma Alliance UK (CAUK) at the Henstead Arts Craft Centre on September 28 in the village between Lowestoft and Beccles.
