Holiday park's controversial licence bid given go-ahead after cutting its hours
Park Holidays UK's licence application for Pakefield Caravan Park in Arbor Lane, near Lowestoft, was brought in front of an East Suffolk Council licensing committee this week.
The company had originally hoped to offer music, dance and alcohol until 1am seven days a week at its new clubhouse on the site.
But the proposal was met with concerns that it will impact neighbours' quality of life and had the potential to lead to antisocial behaviour.
Environmental Protection (EP), which is deemed a responsible authority, had also raised a representation against the proposal.
So the company adjusted its proposed hours to address these concerns.
