The fire broke out at the property in Beach Road, Caister yesterday morning, with eye witnesses describing the scenes of “flames pouring through the windows".

With the entire of the ground floor destroyed and their belongings gone, a fundraiser has been started to help the family with essentials such as clothing, temporary accommodation and food.

The property has been Alex and Kayla Berger's home for the last 22 years, a couple who have been described as being there to "help anyone and everyone".

The fundraiser on the GofundMe site said: "A tragic house fire destroyed everything they owned.

"Everything is gone: their home, belongings, personal keepsakes, and basic necessities.

"We are raising funds to help Alex and Kayla with essentials like clothing, temporary housing, food, and eventually........
