Concerns raised over farm's slurry lagoon bid
David Utting has submitted a proposal to East Suffolk Council to create a clay-lined cattle slurry lagoon at Grove Farm in Vicarage Lane, Mettingham - near Bungay.
It would allow for the safe storage of dirty water and run-off from the nearby yards during the winter months, with the contents then spread on the fields during the drier months.
But neighbours have already begun to raise odour and "poisonous" gas concerns over the bid.
