Business owners say year-long road works have 'almost wiped them out'

The works are being undertaken on the B1123 Halesworth Road, between Harleston and Halesworth, to "future proof" the water supply network.

The disruptions have been intermittent over the period of a year but the road has been closed for a total of six months.

Two business owners have said it has had a major impact on their firms, with one of them saying they have almost been "wiped out".

Ray Smith, owner of the Oasis Camel Park in Linstead, said the closure signs are not clear enough in indicating that there is still access to businesses on the route.
