The lifeless body of Kalvin Taylor was discovered by police on the sofa of a ground floor flat in Norwich, almost a week after he had been killed.

Norwich Crown Court was told that the 19-year-old had travelled to the city from London to sell drugs for the 'Batman' county line and was targeted by members of the rival 'Lenny' line.

Leon Bangura, 21, Soulay Fornah, 19, Adam Dugdale, 56, and Carrie-Anne Hall, 52, have all gone on trial accused of his murder.

Mr Taylor's body was found in the flat in Lefroy Road, Mile Cross, on September 21 last year.

He had suffered a stab wound to the chest.

Collingwood Thompson KC, prosecuting, said turf wars between rival gangs can lead to violence and "that's what happened here".

The prosecutor said members of the Lenny line had decided "to rob Mr Taylor of any drugs he might've had or any money from the sale of drugs and to dispose of a rival".

"And that, we say, is the motive for the crime," he added.
