Marley Rodgers, 19, had admitted causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent after driving a van at the victim on the B1116 at Weybread, Suffolk.

The man suffered a fractured elbow in the incident which happened on September 6 last year.

Rodgers, of Lime Tree Avenue, Long Stratton, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday to be sentenced.

But the case was adjourned until May 12 by Recorder Nicola Fitches who said she needed further probation reports.

She said she needed an addendum report to address "future risk" and dangerousness posed by Rodgers.

The teenager had been due to stand trial on Monday after he previously denied the offence.

But Rodgers entered a guilty plea to the charge before a jury was sworn into try the case.

Rodgers also admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and failing to report a road accident, on September 6, 2025.

In addition he had already admitted separate offences of threatening behaviour, possessing a machete and possession of nitrous oxide on June 13, 2025.
