Edward Meacock, a former Norwich School pupil and Durham University graduate, took the £40,000 black Aston Martin Rapide from his father's Norfolk home.

The high performance car - which is understood to have been driven along Norwich's Prince of Wales Road after it was taken - was reported missing to police by the 36-year-old's father.

It was taken on June 30, 2022, and returned four days later on July 3. By then, it had sustained about £15,300 worth of damage to its wheels, tyres, bodywork and exhaust.
