Lee Whiddett had been taken on by the Liability Network before he siphoned off thousands of pounds from the insurance company - which has since gone into liquidation - over two years.

Norwich Crown Court heard Whiddett, now 45, had taken the money to try and pay off loans and debts - which at their height were around £52,000 - as well as fund a gambling addiction.

He had started taking the money from the company in 2017, at a time when he was using around £1,500 of his £2,400 monthly........
