Villagers challenge Broads bosses over controversial mooring charges
Reedham Parish Council has demanded the Broads Authority suspend its new levy at Reedham Quay, which was introduced this year.
The £12 fee to stay overnight at the mooring on the River Yare has caused upset among some boaters, who have enjoyed being able to stop there for free overnight for decades.
At a recent meeting, Reedham Parish Council decided to challenge the BA and Broadland District Council, which owns the quay.
