Village anger at 'Worstead whopper' potato store to be visible from three miles away

Albert Bartlett, a Scottish firm best known for producing its 'red rooster' spuds, is to build the new structure, nearly 40 metres tall, in Worstead.

But people living next to the factory off Station Road are up in arms.

They fear the structure, dubbed the 'whopper of Worstead', will harm the rural landscape, devalue homes and leave them in the shadow of the imposing steel cube.
