Town's MP says locals should welcome hotel's new asylum seeker arrivals
Adrian Ramsay, who represents Waveney Valley, made the comments amid rising tensions in Diss sparked by the news that the Home Office was moving the men into the town's Park Hotel this week.
The MP, who is also co-leader of the Greens, said: "Together, we will welcome new arrivals and show what I know Diss to be: a compassionate and inclusive town that helps everyone feel part of our community."

The decision by the Home Office sparked a large protest on the street outside the hotel on Monday, with more already planned.
Counter protestors staged a demonstration at the same time, leading to tense scenes between the two groups, and political leaders fear the town could be in for a summer of strife with regular flashpoints at the Denmark Street hotel.........
